The fitting table · AI Lens Advisor

Lens options your staff can explain, with the reason written beside each one.

The advisor reads the saved prescription, the frame size and how the customer uses their eyes, then suggests a lens type, index and coatings, plus frames on your wall that fit. Your staff and the customer decide together.

What AI Lens Advisor handles

Index by power

Suggests 1.50, 1.56, 1.60, 1.67 or 1.74 based on power, frame type and edge thickness.

Screen time

Long hours on screens bring blue-cut and anti-glare options to the top of the list.

Driving and night use

Night driving suggests anti-reflection with low glare; frequent driving notes progressive corridor needs.

Outdoor work

Photochromic or polarised options are shown only when the customer’s day calls for them.

Frames that fit

Frames in stock filtered by face width, lens size, power and the budget the customer gave.

Budget respected

Suggestions stay inside the range the customer named. Upgrades are shown as options, never the default.

How it runs in the store

  1. 01

    Prescription is read

The advisor uses the test saved in Eye Records. It does not change any power.

  2. 02

    Staff note daily use

Screen hours, driving, outdoor work, sport and budget, picked from short options.

  3. 03

    Options with reasons

Lens type, index and coatings appear with a one-line reason for each.

  4. 04

    Staff and customer choose

The chosen frame and lens go straight to the bill and the job card.

Eye-care and responsible AI

  • The AI never tests eyes and never prescribes. It only works from a prescription saved by a qualified optometrist or doctor.
  • Suggestions never push a higher-priced product without a reason. Every suggestion shows why it was made.
  • Staff can ignore any suggestion. The final choice always belongs to the customer and your team.

AI Lens Advisor questions

Can we set our own lens brands?

Yes. The advisor suggests from the lens types and brands you stock or order, at your prices.

Does it need an internet connection?

Suggestions need a connection. Billing and records keep working on a slow line.

Can we turn it off for some staff?

Yes. The advisor can be enabled per role or per branch.
